The AnOmbak platform

One sovereign stack, many surfaces

AnOmbak is not a feature list — it is a Malaysian-owned geo platform: one gateway contract, one fusion engine, one road graph. Three surfaces already ship to real drivers; the rest are sequenced against data that is real, not demo-grade.

Six surfaces, honest states

Live means shipped and device-verified; in design means specified against real data and owed a build; planned / in formation means we are telling you before it exists.

Live

Drive

Turn-by-turn navigation in four locales, with Malaysian address handling (Taman/Jalan/LSN, order- and typo-tolerant search), toll plazas and RM estimates, rest stops and fuel surfaced along the route, and alternatives offered — never force-swapped. 66 builds, v0.1.0 → v0.1.36.

Live

Alerts & presence

Crowd incident reports with expiry, lane-level congestion colours, and other AnOmbak drivers as live dots on your map — peer-to-peer over a websocket hub that never persists a trajectory. Asking is scenario-aware and capped: the app would rather say nothing than cry wolf.

Live

Despatch (fleet mode)

A courier's whole run in one app: scan a QR to claim it, watch the engine sequence the drops, deliver with proof at the door — signature, COD in ringgit, optional photo and OTP — and the dispatcher's console reads the same production backend. The wedge competitors don't have: they sequence drops, then hand off to someone else's nav.

In design

Rides · bus-first

Malaysia already publishes live bus positions as open data (GTFS-Realtime, CC BY 4.0). AnOmbak ingests, clamps and matches them onto static schedules to compute next-stop ETAs the feed itself doesn't give — and every bus position quietly warms the road-flow substrate. Zero fleet recruitment, zero regulatory risk.

In design

AnKayuh — clubs & routes

Group rides on the sovereign map: pacers set the honest math (a 25 km/h group is shown as a 25 km/h group), clubs curate their own route surfaces, and hazard reports use the same crowd discipline as the car app — a pothole reported by a cycling club is a road-state fact the whole network inherits. The club keeps its roster; the map keeps only what riders consent to share.

Planned

The sovereign map

Versioned offline region packs on the self-served tile pipeline, iOS parity, and the deep local-POI work — the map that keeps working in a tunnel, on a dead network, in a country whose data lives in-country.

In formation

AnTIE — the exchange

The same fusion maths, generalised into a national traffic-intelligence exchange: every app's crowd and every agency's sensors pooled into one Malaysian-owned road state none of them can build alone. AnOmbak is the proof the engine works; AnTIE is the invitation to pool.

Under all of it

The spine: one contract, zero lock-in

The app never knows which provider or country supplies the data. Provider quirks live in server-side adapters; a new country is a new adapter set and a capabilities row — the client code does not change.

The fusion model

Four kinds of truth, one posterior

Every road colour is a reliability-weighted blend — and only one source's weight grows with use. The crowd is primary by construction, not by slogan: licensed feeds are scaffolds the community is mathematically designed to outgrow, road by road, until the poll stops there entirely.

Crowd

your drives — primary, unbounded trust

agency incidents & signals — regionally gold

Licensed

TomTom/HERE — a scaffold, retired when earned

Typical & cap

learned priors — badged honestly

The rule that keeps all of this honest: a road with too few recent samples renders grey, not a guess. Grey means unknown — the app telling you exactly what it knows. Capability flags work the same way: lane guidance, traffic-light countdown and live EV availability stay switched off until their data is real, instead of shipping a demo-grade lie.

The frontier page holds what this engine is reaching for — and the refusals that keep it trustworthy.
